Who doesn’t love a good proposal story?! Check out this gorgeous Surprise Proposal during Michigan’s beautiful Fall.

When Julian contacted me at the beginning of October to plan a family session, he mentioned an “additional request”. Naturally, my response was “Absolutely! Tell me more!”

Julian had planned to propose to Courtney in May when they had a trip planned to Colorado, but due to the Pandemic, that was no longer an option. He asked “I wanted to see if you could capture some pictures of the proposal. Good idea? Bad idea?” — AMAZING IDEA, by the way. YES!

And let me tell you, it could not have been more perfect. The fall proposal was held at golden hour, at Fenner Nature Center in Lansing and it went perfectly, the weather (73 degrees!!) and setting were stunning.

The fact that we got to include their daughter in the photos just added to the element of ADORABLE. She wants to be a photographer, and so during photos I had her take pictures with my camera to keep her busy while Dad was popping the question!
