“What would you describe your wedding photography style as?”
Authentic, candid with some gentle posing and LOTS of prompting. Meaning I will ask you questions to get the emotions going. You better believe I’m going to be directing your whole wedding party to do something ridiculous. I want REAL laughs, and I want the photos to truly reflect the love and joy you experience on your day.
“Do you travel for destination weddings and what are your travel fees?”
I absolutely love to travel for engagements and weddings so, in other words, the answer is YES. After we have decided what type of coverage you need for the wedding day, we book and secure the travel accommodations at the current rates. And you can always Contact me for more info!
“Do you deliver every image you shoot?”
Simply put, no. I want to make sure that every image I deliver is an accurate representation of my work. The images that are discarded are the ones you don’t want to see. (Test images, out of focus, someone stuffing their face…well, you might get that one, haha!)
“Have you shot at my venue before”?
I have been photographing weddings, and literally everything else under the sun for 10 years. I’ve got hundreds of weddings under my belt, which means I’ve dealt with different lighting, acclimate weather, and obstacles. I arrive at the venue with some time to spare to have a look around to get my bearings. To make it simple; if your big day is in your own backyard, or at a Yacht Club. I can handle it!
“How will our photos be delivered?”
When I’m finished editing, you will be emailed your gallery of images with a hi-resolution download. Included in this email will be the PIN to download your images, the ability to share the photos to your friends and family via the link, and social media!
“Can we post and share our images?”
Simply put, most definitely! I would love for you to share your images! Please credit the shared images @evokeweddingphoto on IG and @EVOKE Photography on FB.
“What are some tips and tricks at getting the most out of our day?”
Planning is key to having your event go smoothly! Being the hands-on photographer that I am, I love to help offer my insight and experience especially early on in your planning process! And as always, I highly encourage hiring a wedding planner or at a minimum a ‘day-of-coordinator”.
“Are engagement sessions necessary?”
My approach is a little more personal. Therefore, I love getting to know my clients in person before their big day! For me to capture you in a way that screams “these are SO US!!!!” I think they are very necessary, even if you’ve had them done before you hired me!
“How long do we have to wait to see images?”
You will get a sneak peek within 24-72 hours of your engagement session, or wedding! And for your engagement your session will be returned within just a few days, and about 6 weeks at the most for your wedding! Sneak peeks come after the wedding as well, so stay excited!!
