When I say there was not a dry eye for any part of this summer Detroit wedding at the Roostertail, I mean it. The love, excitement, and support for these two, were absolutely beautiful to witness. When I “meet” potential wedding clients, I always set up an introductory phone call. By the time we were finished, it was like old friends, laughing and so excited to bring the experience and vision to life.

(To be fair, it’s usually like this for the clients who end up hiring me, and that’s exactly the way we want it to be. Matching with your photographer is essential.)

The Day of Niya & Tenai’s Wedding

The gorgeous Detroit Club Hotel location for the getting ready and the first look matched the vibe perfectly, especially this gorgeous seating area in the Hotel.

Niya and Tenai decided they were going to do a ‘First Look’, I knew it was going to be ‘next level’. But I was not prepared for the heavy flow of tears when they had a moment to take in one another. *sobs*

Pause, for just a moment.

Now, this is just where it started because it got even better as the night went on. The emotions were high and so was the love. Niya and Tenai chose to have their ceremony on the patio at the Roostertail. What a gorgeous sunny day it was.

Niya & Tenai’s wedding served deep emotion throughout the entire day. So many big hugs, and cries of joy. Support and pure happiness radiated from all their loved ones.
