When I say there was not a dry eye for any part of this summer Detroit wedding, I mean it. The love, excitement, and support for these two, was absolutely beautiful to witness. When I “meet” potential wedding clients, I always set up a phone call. By the time we were finished, it was like old friends, laughing and so excited to bring the experience and vision to life.

(To be fair, it’s usually like this for the clients who end up hiring me, and that’s exactly the way I prefer it! The vibe-match is so important!!)

The gorgeous Detroit Club Hotel location for the getting ready and the first look matched the vibe perfectly, especially this gorgeous seating area in the Hotel.

Niya and Tenai decided they were going to do a ‘First Look’, I knew it was going to be ‘next level’. But I was not prepared for the heavy flow of tears when they had a moment to take in one another. *sobs*

Now, this is just where it started because it got even better as the night went on. The emotions were high and so was the love. Niya and Tenai chose to have their ceremony on the patio at the Roostertail. What a gorgeous sunny day it was.

This summer Detroit wedding served so much emotion. So many huge hugs, and cries of joy. Support and pure happiness radiated from all their loved ones.
