When I met Ashley and Meg for the first time, it was on a Zoom meeting.
They like many of my other clients were planning an outdoor fall wedding during a Pandemic, their idea to have a fall backyard wedding was just perfect. Aside from the crazy, and all that has changed; the thing that remained constant for these two is their eternal love for one another.

And I’m talking deep, passionate, intense, hilarious, imperfect, REAL, genuine love. I don’t have to have years with them to see it. Nobody does. They are the most impressive couple I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Their spark is more like dynamite. And it’s absolutely beautiful.

Beyond who they are together, individually… they create what is a true power couple. Both of them have Doctorates, and work incredibly hard, and the passion they have for their careers is inspiring. You don’t have to know them long to see it. They are meant for each other. And I couldn’t be happier for them, or more thrilled that I have yet again gained new friends.

Ashley’s family worked super hard to gather and create a video with well wishes. The love from their family who could not be in attendance only further solidified what kind of couple they are to everyone around them. They are truly special. And I’m SO excited that they chose me to capture one of the happiest days of their lives.

Here are just a “few” of the highlights of the day from their backyard wedding in Michigan.
